1) Why do you like using WordPress?
I like WordPress because it’s open source and highly adaptable. The low barrier to entry (both to use and to develop with) makes it a clear choice for one who believes in its mandate to democratize web publishing.
2) Why did you decide to speak at WordCamp Ottawa?
I decided to speak at WordCamp Ottawa because it’s a great way to meet people in the WordPress community.
3) What is the one thing you want people to walk away with from your talk?
I hope my talk gives people at least 3 things they can do when they get back to work to make their sites load faster.
4) What is your favourite WordPress plugin or theme? Why?
My favourite WordPress plugin is anti-spam. It’s simple and effective. Install it and forget it while it protects your site from all that spam spam spam.
